Yes, we offer a same day drop off and collection service, subject to availability. Contact us as early as possible to arrange this.
Our standard hire includes up to 14 days. This covers our delivery, setup, and collection costs regardless of how long you actually use the skip. Need it longer? No problem. We're flexible and can accommodate extended rental periods to suit your project. Just let us know your requirements when booking.
If the skip is placed on your private property, no permit is required. However, if the skip needs to be on public land such as a road or pavement, you'll need a permit from your local council. We can help you arrange this.
For safety and environmental reasons, some items can't go in our skips, including hazardous waste, asbestos, batteries, tyres, paint tins, fridges and freezers, and gas cylinders. If you're unsure about an item, just ask us.
Yes, each skip size has a maximum weight limit. Overloading can result in additional charges and makes transportation unsafe. We'll let you know the specific limits when you book.
We're committed to responsible waste management. Waste from your skip goes to a licensed waste sorting facility, where as much as possible is recycled in line with our commitment to sustainability.
Yes. We supply 6F2 recycled aggregate, also known as 6F2 capping or crusher run. It's crushed concrete, brick and mortar, graded from 100mm down to dust. Once compacted, it makes a solid sub-base for hard-standings, haul roads, building bases and piling mats, usually finished with a layer of Type 1.
As a recycled product, it may contain small fragments of wood, plastic, glass or metal.
We deliver from 4 tonnes up to a full 8-wheeler load (18 to 20 tonnes) across Northwich and Cheshire. Prefer to collect? There's no minimum on collection, so you can collect any amount from our yard in Winnington.
As a guide, one 8-wheeler load covers around 73m² at 150mm deep once compacted. Our coverage calculator works it out for you: choose what it's for, enter your area and depth, and it estimates the tonnage. Allow around 10% extra for levels and waste.
